KIDS ALBUM OUT NOW!!!!
"Space Rabbits of Brocklevoons - the album" is out!

Tracks include Sparky the Giant Squid, My Cat Won't Eat That, The Bears Who Will Not Behave, Don't Listen To This Song, new versions of Fred the Dog and Family Outing, and of course Space Rabbits of Brocklevoons – plus new ones including a song about The Big Bang!

There is also a bonus CD: the Radio 3KR adventure story (see below)

19/3/12 KIDS ALBUM ON ITS WAY ...
Thanks to all of you patiently waiting for Kate's new kids album. It is fast approaching completion, and will be released first online as a digital download, followed by a hardcopy version.

CYGNET FOLK FESTIVAL- 6-8 JAN 2012
Kate Rowe and Ryan Morrison are heading for Cygnet Folk Festival, for grownup shows and kids shows. For concert info please see the Gigs page! (the link is in the column on your left.)

KIDS ALBUM UPDATE - 3 NOV 2011
The Kate Rowe Kids Album is due for release in early 2012. All the tracks have been recorded, and the album will be mixed in early December. Also to be mixed is the bonus cd: a funny 30 min radio play about the strange happenings one morning at Radio 3KR ... more on this soon!

UK TOUR 2011
Kate will tour the UK for the second time supporting festival favourites The Spooky Men's Chorale from Jul-Sept 2011. See gigs page for dates.

APRIL 2011 - KATE ROWE KIDS CD
This year Kate will be working on an album of songs for kids aged 5-8. The album will contain new songs, as well as favourites like "Space Rabbits of Brocklevoons". Kate will be recording once again at Sound Heaven Studios.

YOUNG READERS PROGRAM CD LAUNCH
Kate will perform for little kids and their families at The State Library of Victoria on Sunday 3rd April, when the Library launches its new Young Readers Program CD. The album will be distributed free to libraries and health centres across Victoria, and features a mixture of traditional songs, modern songs and rhymes for kids and families to sing together. Kate has lent her voice to some of the songs on the CD, including songs from "Mr Bandicoot & Other Tales". The launch is at 11am at the Library, and Kate will also be performing Mr Bandicoot songs at 1pm. See gigs page for details.

APRA PDA FINALIST 2011
Kate was a finalist in the 2011 APRA Professional Development Awards. These awards provide major support to artists in the early stages of their careers.

ASA AWARDS 2010
Kate has been awarded Songwriter of the Year in the 2010 Australian Songwriters Association Awards. Kate also won the Folk/Acoustic category with Coffee My Lover, the Lyrics section with Dusty Room, and was joint winner in the Spiritual category with Dusty Room. Click here for full press release.

"NATURE'S LITTLE GAME" ALBUM OF THE WEEK
Kate's new album was Album of the Week on CoastFM963 between Sept 22-29.

AUSTRALIA TOUR 2010

NEW CD
'Nature's Little Game', Kate's second album, will be launched on July 30, 2010 at The Clarendon in Katoomba, and on Aug 1, 2pm at The Harp in Tempe. See the gigs page for more info on the launch, or click here for more info about the album.

LENNON AWARD WINNER
After a judging round and then an online internet voting round, "Space Rabbits of Brocklevoons" won a Lennon Award in the 2009 John Lennon Songwriting Competition. The competition is run by the John Lennon Foundation in New York. Kate's song is now in the running for Maxell Song of the Year in the same contest.
